Los Amigos wants to make life easy for all of our members and staff. For this, some new rules will be implemented.
- Communication about playing days will be on the whatsapp group.
- On Mondays and Wednesdays a poll will be sent via this group, asking members if they will play the next day.
- If yes, you will be expected to show up. Not showing up means disappointing the other players.
- In any case, voting yes means you´ll have to pay the fee.
- The ´no´ option is only for people that want to change their mind.
- 9.30 pm is closing hour for the poll
- A minimum number of 8 players is required to play the regular Los Amigos tennis.
- If less than 8, players can arrange to play themselves. Do NOT use our club´s whatsapp group for this, do the communication via private messages.
- If, in the end, no one plays, the condition of mandatory fee is dropped.
- When you do want to play with less than 8, please notify the staff, in this case via the club´s whatsapp group. The staff will notify the Pego Club de Tenis and arrange courts and payments etc..
- If less than 8, players can arrange to play themselves. Do NOT use our club´s whatsapp group for this, do the communication via private messages.
- As the Pego Club de Tenis only guarantees 3 clay courts, 12 players can always be accomodated. More courts may be available, but that is not certain. More members can show up, but may have to play on hard court or play padel.
- Prioritising will be on the day of play, first to show up, first to be served.
- Prioritising will NOT be on who voted on the poll first.
There is not a ready solution for those members who can´t, or don´t want to, start at 10 am. But, Los Amigos being a social tennis club, situations like this can be resolved.
