A tournament that was a great succes. The day was saved by John, who played stand in for somebody who couldn´t make it this day. Thank you John, you saved the tournament.

This was the first tournament, at least in my memory, where we didn´t have lunch at the tennis club bar, as it has been closed for quite some time now. But, looking at all the renovation work that is going on, we´ll probably have a nice venue for lunch next year!

So, this tournament´s lunch was at Suzy´s Chinese Restaurant. And what a lunch it was! There were 32 of us who showed up for this lunch, and all of us were amazed at the quality and amount of food! Thank you, Suzy, for this fantastic afternoon!

Let´s get back to the tournament. 20 Players competed for the honour of winning. After 4 rounds of serious tennis, we found our winners and runners up:

Ladies: Jayne won first prize, with Chrissie as runner up.

Gentlemen: Yes, Giuseppe won first prize, runner up was Mario.
